A rare and important 50’s jazz LP by Bud Powell (doing two solos) accompanied by jazz luminaries on six other tunes.
From Wikipedia: “The album is critically prized among Powell's releases. Among the more discussed of the album's tracks is the pianist's composition "Un Poco Loco" ("A Little Crazy"), which has been singled out by critics and cultural historians for its musical and cultural significance.”
LP is nice, shiney and plays very well on my Rega Planar 2 turntable. Very minor surface noise noticeable on the piano solos. Cover is in excellent shape. Shows a small bit of fading along the left front edge, minor bumps on the corners, and minor wear along bottom left edge.
A fine bit of Jazz history by iconic musicians, and a nice addition to any Jazz collection.
Non smoking home. Packed carefully and sent promptly.
