Description
The Allusions,Parlophone LP, 'The Allusions' in EX visual shape - just a few faint tiny lines in bright sunlight.This is the 'Encore' second pressing that's just as good as this black and yellow first pressing - the vinyl is nice and thick,labels are super clean.
Audio fidelity is impressive, just the odd tick or pop here and there,mainly between tracks - two light ticks right at the end of 'Blue Monday' on side 1 - this LP delivers a great listen.
Cover has a ring impression front and rear from the record,light wear of the laminate over where the label sits in the sleeve,some creases along the spine and the front lower RH bottom.The rear is marked with ring impressions from the record and label (rear not laminated),but the cover has almost no wear - a respectable VG+.
The British influences are quite evident,but that was the major draw for most bands in many countries wasn't it? Many tracks are original compositions by the group.
A few more tracks of the quality of 'Gypsy Woman' wouldn't have gone astray,but still a great LP.
