Original Year of Release: 1968

Brief Info: Put simply: a spectacular German-pressed CBS sampler featuring some big names of the era. This is a early coloured vinyl record, made before they became fashionable and they hardly get more coloured than this. CBS are not so well known for ‘gimmick’ pressings, but this somewhat breaks the mould and few coloured records will overshadow this one. Gimmick vinyl is not usually associated with quality sound, but this record does play very well indeed proving it can be done. Little unwanted was heard on this fine sampler, t– some mighty fine songs.......
