Description

Hello!  Up for bids is this amazing record... an original 1956 Lexington Avenue Pressing of "The Magnificent Thad Jones", on Blue Note Records (BLP 1527).  This record has been in my personal collection for a long time, and is without any doubt, the finest looking and finest sounding Blue Note Lexington pressing I've ever seen.  Normally, records of this vintage are very worn, but this copy is quite the exception.  Vinyl is very shiny, and just has some light hairlines here and there, definitely EX condition or better.  There are absolutely no scratches or any audible problems at all...just a slight crackle once in a while.  This record has been play-tested...I've listened to it a handful of times, and have always been amazed at how good it sounds (especially considering the rarity and age).  It has been stored in a plastic audiophile sleeve.  The jacket has no seam splits, very sharp corners, almost no discoloration or wear, and no writing on the jacket or labels.  This LP truly looks and sounds almost like new.  This is a flat-edge pressing, with no groove guard.  Deadwax information:
