One of Testament’s meanest records, and this is one of the versions collectors actually chase.
This is the 2018 Nuclear Blast limited-edition pressing of The Gathering on yellow vinyl, with this variant limited to just 1,000 copies.
And this album absolutely rips — D.N.R., Down for Life, Eyes of Wrath, True Believer, Legions of the Dead and more. Testament came roaring back here with Chuck Billy and Eric Peterson joined by an absurd lineup that included Dave Lombardo on drums and Steve DiGiorgio on bass, giving The Gathering a ridiculous amount of weight and aggression.
The yellow vinyl variant was a genuinely small run, and with only 1,000 copies pressed, this is far more collectible than a standard reissue.
