Description

This is a white label, 180gm test pressing, black vinyl copy of Bob Dylan's second studio album "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan", first released in 1963 and then re-issued in 1998 on the Simply Vinyl record label (SVLP 003). It comes housed in its original cover with the name and catalogue number hand written on the inner sleeve in black marker pen.

It is my understanding that there are only 10 test pressings ever made of each record and that they are only given to the label and mastering facility for quality control purposes. Some are then sent to shops as promotional copies. I won this record in 1999 in a competition in the long defunct record collector magazine, Record Mart and Buyer.

It has never been played and has only been taken out of its cover for me to take the photographs you see above.
