Our Vinyl Grading System (Noted in title)
Record;
MINT Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, Possibly even still sealed.
NR MINT A nearly perfect record. A NM or M- record has more than likely never been played and the vinyl will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback. The sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects. The Cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut out holes or other similar defects. The same should be true for other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves etc.
VERY GOOD + Item played but surface appears clear with minimal signs of scratches or scuffs. The sleeve will have minimal corner/edge/shelf wear, no dents or damage.
VERY GOOD Vinyl surface may have a few light surface marks and some dust build-up. Cover may have some light signs of wear to edges & corners. No dirt or marks.
GOOD Vinyl has a number of light lines and scuffs but still looks very playable with no major issues, may need cleaning but ultimately a playable record. Sleeve has issues such as corner/edge wear and some dents, possibly some light sticker residue. May show light dirt and or finger marks.
FAIR The vinyl has obviously been played a number of times and may have lost its sheen. The will also be a number of surface marks. Sleeve will have discolouring, creasing and general wear.
POOR Surface has deep scratches, dirt and scuffs. Likely to play with skips or be unplayable altogether. Sleeve is torn, worn or dirty.
