Description

This is a Stereo recording of Terry Riley’s ‘In C’. Terry Riley is composer, leader and saxophonist with members of the Centre of the Creative and Preforming Arts in the State University of New York.
It is part of the collection of Jazz ( I’m not sure if I should call this Jazz?) records I have inherited from my late husband. They haven’t been played since 1990 and this one is in mint condition.
The number is CBS 64565 released in 1971. The matrix are stamped side one S64565 A1 on the run out and on side two S64565 B1
The vinyl is bright and shiny, there are no marks on it at all. I have played it and the sound is perfect. I haven’t cleaned it as I don’t want to damage it. I am finding it difficult to find any hairline scratches at all on either side the surface it just looks like new. The labels are mint without any spindle marks (perhaps he never played it but I think he did!). There is another number on the label under S164565 it is MS7178.
The sleeve is nearly mint, it is made of strong cardboard by Shorepak which means there are hardly any ring marks where it has been stored. The spine is great and so are the corners. The inner sleeve is original and has photos of CBS artists and records. It is in mint condition just a little discoloured with age.  I am not a professional seller so please look at the photos and read the description and ask if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.
