A record that is getting harder and harder to find as the years ago ..... just listen to it and you can hear why nobody wants to get rid of it. Can 'fab' be still used to describe a record? Even if it cant be this days and it shows my age, this record is 'fab' ..... they don't make records like this anymore!
Written by 1 of the Lotus Team, and sung and hummed by members of the of the Team as well.
Quoting from the record sleeve ..... 'as they toil away tweaking up the car, they sing strange enchanting songs the lyrics of which are loaded with tear jerking sentiment and unprintable words. From their vast repertoire of ribald songs we have taken two of the seemly tunes, both written and composed by Luke Watson, one of the Team'.
The record honors the mechanics, Emerson, JPS, Mr Chapman and everybody involved in the success of that Championship year.
Please study all the photographs very carefully as they will show the great condition that this item is in. I must stress again that this record has never been played, and only a visual check has been performed; and it gets the thumbs up from me. You will have to make your own judgement.
If you want to hear the record 'The Champions', then you can find it on the 'internet, but I have to find "working 'al 'nighter!, the B side.
