TAME IMPALA - CURRENTS (AUTHENTIC 2015 EUROPEAN INITIAL FIRST PRESSING - ULTRA-RARE LIMITED VIOLET & AMBER TRANSLUCENT COLORED VINYL 2xLP GATEFOLD SET - ARCHIVAL PLAY GRADED NM ARCHIVE GRADED COPY)
Up for sale is an absolute pinnacle, investment-grade collector's dream piece: the highly coveted, out-of-print 2015 initial limited edition translucent colored vinyl pressing of Tame Impala's psych-pop masterpiece, "Currents." Do not confuse this with common, mass-produced black wax reissues or modern clear retail copies. This copy is an authentic, original 2015 European initial production run pressed across two premium heavyweight colored vinyl plates—Record 1 is translucent Violet/Purple and Record 2 is translucent Amber/Yellow (Catalog #4739489 / Barcode: 0602547394897). It was manufactured as a strictly restricted webstore exclusive upon launch and has completely vanished from retail distribution feeds. It has been thoroughly vacuum-washed, strictly play-graded, and is fully preserved inside premium anti-static Mobile Fidelity (MoFi) Master Sleeves to safeguard the delicate analog tracks from future static dust collection.
THE GENESIS OF A SOUND THAT RE-DEFINED POP ARCHITECTURE:
Universally hailed as a modern masterpiece, Kevin Parker's "Currents" effortlessly bridges the boundaries of psychedelic rock, electronic synth-pop, disco, and R&B. Cut directly from high-resolution studio production master lacquers, this double-LP colored layout gives the incredibly rich, layered production immense room to breathe, delivering massive low-end bass extensions, ultra-crisp panning synthesizers, and a whisper-quiet noise floor. Experience stand-out generation-defining anthems like "Let It Happen," "Eventually," "The Less I Know the Better," and "Cause I'm a Man" with peak analog depth. Far superior to compressed digital streaming channels.
CONDITION DETAILS (STRICT HONEST SELLER GRADING):
* Vinyl Condition: Near Mint (NM). Both custom colored vinyl discs (translucent violet and translucent amber) retain a gorgeous, deep factory mirror gloss. The colored surfaces display absolutely zero visible marks, scuffs, or hairline paper scratches even under intense, direct LED grading lamps. Fully play-graded from start to finish—tracks beautifully with massive dynamic range and an incredibly quiet noise floor. Completely free of any skips, loops, or distracting surface pops. An absolute top-tier archive spin!
