Description

Talking Heads

"Speaking In Ton gues" LP

This is a copy of the limited edition, special release of 'Speaking In Tongues', the Talking Heads 5th studio lp from 1983. While David Byrne designed the cover for the regular issue, a limited edition package was designed by Robert Rauschenberg. He won a Grammy for this design. CONDITION -
Jacket: The package consists of an oversized clear plastic outer case of light though stiff plastic. Inside are 3 12" thin platic discs with the Rauschenberg art on them. The outer plastic case is VG+ with some tears and break-off in a couple of places along the edge. The Rauschenberg art discs are EX and are very nice.
Vinyl: Inside the plasit case and in between the Rauschenberg art is a clear vinyl record of 'Speaking In Tongues'. The LP is EX- with a little light wear. The record labels are Near Mint. I'm not sure if this has ever been played -- there are no spindle marks. TRACK LISTING BELOW
