Original UK Direction yellow label stereo press double LP.
The third lp by Taj Mahal issued in 1969, with an electric blues side 'Giant Step' and an acoustic rural blues side 'Old Folks'. The arrangements are unique and nowhere is this more evident than the practically jovial mid-tempo "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" or the freewheeling abandon that is brought to the 18-wheeler anthem "Six Days on the Road." With the earliest A-1 B-1 C-1 D-1 matrices of the first presses!
 

The E. J. Day Group matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light corner/edge wear and some light storage rubbing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inners are intact & in EX condition.   The records are in visually EX+ condition, with no bad marks or scratches and only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, undamaged, clean & bright with evidence of one or two faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud crackle, hiss, skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief, low background noise during the run in grooves, Overall, a really great, loud and clear listen.   The matrix nos. are; SPBG-66226, A-1, stamper A-4, B-1 stamper A-6, C-1 stamper A-10, D-1 stamper A-8. This is one of the very early pressings of the original 1969 UK stereo 1st issue of this classic album!

  All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg,

Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
