Description
This is an original 1981 pressing of the Australian release of the 13 track LP of Tactics' second album, "Glebe" on Green (LRG-094).
Tactics formed in Canberra in 1977 and later moved to Sydney. They released a 3 track EP in 1979 (on Folding Chair) and a single in mid 1980 (on Doublethink). They had several album releases in the 80s, but in 1989 they disbanded.
This 2nd LP is a much sought after release and is written up on the Wikipedia site as follows:- Tactics' second album, Glebe, was released in November 1981. One music critic highlighted the "departures from the earlier sound, featuring a stronger reggae/dub influence."[2] Studdert said that "From a marketing point of view, the record was a wrong move but, while recognising that it was, I don't regret it for one moment. I love the album, and I'm really happy that we did it and I know the reasons why we did a record that was so different to My Houdini".
