Description

Twist At The Star Club Hamburg
LP

Low start!.....No reserve!!.....NO high priced ‘Buy It Now’.

No pages of ‘awesome’ and ‘mega rare’ bulls*it……if you’re reading this you know how rare this LP is!

From the cradle days of the Liverpool and British Beat Boom comes this 1963 album recorded live at the Star-Club in Hamburg, Germany.

.....Interestingly, track 5 on side one is not listed on the sleeve or record. It is Lennon & McCartneys ‘Please Please Me’. The Beatles recorded their version in November 1963 and their LP was issued in January 1963 so this version must be one of the earliest recorded by another group………….Also the singer “Dan Sherry” is actually Tony Sheridan (who sadly died in February last year).......also includes the very underrated Roy Young.....

Record is in good condition with a few light marks, not too serious. The cover is very good with slight wear to opening edge, that’s all.

Due to an increase in eBay fees I have unfortunately had to increase postage slightly. (But still less than many sellers!) Also, eBay now charge a 9% fee on postage cost. To help buyers I will list this auction with a low start price.

NEW !! All records are professionally cleaned on an Okki Nokki Record Cleaner, ensuring you receive it in its best condition.

This is a Vinyl record. Note that most vinyl will have a little faint 'crackle'. I describe them as best I can but be aware all records may have a very occasional background.
