VERY RARE ORIGINAL VINYL EDITION OF A GREAT ALBUM
Trumans Water is an indie rock band from San Diego, California. Formed in April 1991, members of the unit have included Glen Galloway, Ely Moyal, Andres Malinao, Kevin Cascell and brothers Kirk Branstetter and Kevin Branstetter. They have released over a dozen full length recordings over their career, wherein they collaborated with notable acts in genre, including Azalia Snail, Brendan Bell Jeff Fuccillo, Chan Marshall and Thurston Moore.
Influenced by noise-rock acts such as The Boredoms, Sun City Girls and Sonic Youth, they introduced a generation of indie music fans to Beefheartian composition and wild free improvisation. Despite the apparent chaotic quality of their music, however, a large part of Trumans Water's success lies in their dedication to rehearsal.
Godspeed the Static is a vinyl-only album by Trumans Water. It was released in 1993 by Drunken Fish Records and is the first in a series of three "Godspeed" albums, all featuring improvised music. (The other improvised albums are Godspeed the Vortex and Godspeed the Hemorrhage; Godspeed the Punchline contains full-blown, studio-recorded songs.) The first pressing of this album came in hand-painted, unique covers.

significantly from the sound…sleeve also has only slight wear, and is still in nice
collectible.
VG++ = played often with moderate surface wear and some moderate noise, still plays well…
sleeve may have medium overall wear or some ring wear.
VG+ = overall wear, but no skips of serious defects, more noisy sound during quiet passages…
sleeve is well worn, usually with considerable ring wear.
VG = plays a lot, heavy wear on record and cover…guarantee does not apply to vg- or worse
condition records.
