Notes : music and orchestra Armando Trovaioli. A very nice and surprising score. Although the film plot is set in the Florence of 1478 all the tracks are totally based on beat sound. Pleasant ballads sung by I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni are alternated by exciting dance tunes - shake and other rhythms of the sixties - with Antonello Vannucchi on Hammond and Carlo Pes on electric guitar. Among the tunes : " QUANT'E' BELLA GIOVINEZZA ", a poem written by Lorenzo de' Medici in the fifteenth century, delightfully transformed in an exciting juke box version, " ADREMELEK ", underlined by a killer Hammond, " MOTO PERPETUO " characterized by guitaristic virtuosities, " MADDALENA ", a fine romantic song compared to Lennon-McCartney's " Yesterday " by the critic of the footnote on the back cover. 11 tracks.

An Italian comedy, starring Vittorio Gassman, Claudine Auger, Mickey Rooney, directed by Ettore Scola.
