The TRIP

Remixes Part 1

Tessellate

12" Cat: TESS 020
Rel: 29 Jul 24
Deep House Side 1 - Track 1. Fantazia (Spray remix) Side 1 - Track 2. Don't Panic (Aldonna remix) Side 2 - Track 1. Big Buzz (Liquid Earth remix) Side 2 - Track 2. For The Record (Adam Collins remix)

Off the back of their three releases in 2023, The Trip present their first remix EP, 'Remixes Part 1'. Inviting some of their favourite artists - Spray, Aldonna, Liquid Earth and Adam Collins - each have taken it in turn to remix a track from their back catalog on Tessellate. All bases are covered here - a bit of tribal, a tad more techy stuff, some prog and some acid thrown in for good measure. Best of the bunch is Aldonna's remix of 'Dont Panic', whose many-filtered melody lines overlie each other like layers on a cosmic cake.
