TRIFLE First Meeting 1971 DAWN 1st UK Press Psych Funk

      Label- Dawn   Catalogue:- DNLS3017   Matrix:- A1/B1   Here we have a very rare 1971 1st UK pressing on the highly collectable Dawn label and in the original delicate textured gatefold sleeve. Barely played but handled clumsily, visually not so great but plays and sounds EXCELLENT. Read on below...    Condition   Vinyl:- VG (I must describe the condition in a bit more detailed as the VG grade does not really describe the record or do its sound quality justice. VG implies a record that has had considerable play but this is not the case with this. In fact the record has had only very light play, as evidenced by the small piece of flashing inside the spindle hole, and gleams with its original shine but has numerous very clumsy visible scratches. Side one has too many to count and side two has about three or four. Most importantly though is that my full test play reveals a record that plays much better than it looks. In fact the sound quality was that of an EX grade. The marks are not audible and cause no jumps or repeats. I only noted a VERY occaisional light pop now and then. Nothing serious at all. Overall soundquality is SUPERB. I have cleaned the vinyl before this auction on my record cleaning machine using L'Art Du Son cleaning fluid which greatly enhances the sound quality.)   Sleeve and Labels:- The delicate textured gatefold is a VG++ with only a little light wear and some light ringwear. This is in a fact a better example as this sleeve usually suffers wear easily. The labels are EXCELLENT with only two or three spindle marks and a little flashing still remaining  in the spindle hole.   This record seldom comes up for sale. Don't miss your chance.
