Description
You are bidding to buy my T.Rex ‘Slider’ Album, which I bought on release from “Heinz & Allen” of Abergavenny. This is the original 1972 UK version, and on the EMI record label.
Following a recent house move, I’ve discovered I still own over 100 LP’s and singles from the 1960’s and 1970’s and have decided its time they all had a new home. All to be eventually listed as I sort them out.
This is the highly collectable 1st pressing.

Played only a handful of times as I also bought the cassette version at the same time, which saw regular use in my portable radio/cassette unit and car tape deck (those were the days).
All the pictures are of the actual item I’m selling. They are not “archive” or cloned from somebody else’s listing.
I appreciate that condition is everything, that personal opinions vary, and my opinion may be different from yours. I welcome prospective bidders to as all questions, or come and view before bidding, and make up your own mind.
The cover
The cover is unmarked, has no creases or outline of LP and the writing on the spine is clear and legible.
The sleeve
The sleeve is unmarked, and the writing on both sides is fresh and legible.
The record
There are no marks / scratches or imperfections on the playing surface, and the surface still has a natural shine to it. Both labels are unmarked and not torn.
Checkout the lack of damage around the turntable spindle hole in the labels – a great indicator to the lack of playing, on a well used record, the label around the hole gets damaged.
I’d describe the condition of the record, sleeve and cover as Excellent. I feel I’m a little harsh, and erring on the cautious. However, if you’d like further info or pictures, or believe that I’ve not described it correctly, please say so before bidding.
Please note this is advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to end the auction early if sold.
I’d prefer this to be “Cash on Collection only”.
However, if you wish to have this posted to you, I will only post it by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery to a UK mainland address.
