Mega rare Krautrock private press LP
+ INSERT! Limited + numbered 200
Transrubicon war eine lokal recht bekannte Band aus Schwäbisch Gmünd, dies ist ihr einziges Album, aus dem Jahre 1982.
Extrem lustige Platte - der Text hinten auf der Hülle beginnt mit "Die Gruppe Transrubicon, deren erstes Album hier vorliegt, entspringt einer Idee, einem intakten Gitarrenverstärker den Garaus zu machen.". In diesem Stil geht der Text und schließlich auch die Musik auf der LP weiter. Zum Schreien komische Texte, Gekreische, absurdes Geschrammel, verzerrte Soli und ein a-capella-Titel (der letzte).
Der Klappentext schließt mit "Special Thanks dem Arno, dem Clemens und allen, die diese LP nicht verhindern konnten."
Die LP wurde limitiert & nummeriert auf 200 Stück gepresst, dies ist Nr. 124. Das rare 2-seitige Textblatt mit Preisausschreiben ist mit dabei!!
LP und Textblatt sind wie neu, keine Kratzer, nicht das Geringste Knistern, das Cover hat nur sehr geringe Abnutzungsspuren, selbst der Text auf der fragilen Kante ist noch komplett zu lesen.
Transrubicon was a locally fairly known band from Schwäbisch Gmünd, southern germany. This is their only album, from 1982, called "The dancer and Mrs. Maier".
Extremely funny record - the german text on the back cover starts with "The group Transrubicon, whose first album you're holding in your hand, originated from the idea to kill a fully functional guitar amplifier.". And is this style the text, and finally the music on the LP continues. Incredibly hilarious lyrics, screaming, absurd guitar thrashing, distorted solos and one a-capella song (the last one).
The sleeve notes end with "Special thanks to Arno, Clemens and all that were unable to prevent the release of this LP."
The LP was pressed limited & numbered to 200 copies, this one is no. 124. The 2-sided lyric sheet with contest is still included!!
LP and lyric sheet are like new, no scratches, not the slightest crackle, the cover has only very minor wear, even the small print on the fragile spine is completely intact. Side 1:
