Description
RARE!! TRAFFIC LP. Original 1968 UK.
“TRAFFIC”. Second album. ***NM – STEREO***
Very earliest FIRST PRESSING!! “Patents Applied For”.
Up for auction is this rare original second album of Traffic on the original 1968 UK Pink Island Black Circle logo label.
This album is in virtually MINT condition vinyl.
COVER: G/F Original. EX++. The only thing that stops me from grading this cover higher is because it was of course issued in unlaminated state and is thus showing very minor loss of colour due to storage. But that’s it.
VINYL: Virtually MINT. Still retains its just pressed glossy sheen and is perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. Graded: a very strong NM.
LABELS: NM. Not even a single spindle trail.
MATRIX NUMBERS: SIDE ONE: ILPS – 9081 – TA2
SIDE TWO: ILPS – 9081 – TB5
STAMPERS: SIDE ONE: 2 4
SIDE TWO: 5 1
INNER SLEEVE: Excellent. Slight ageing only, but it is the original and displays “Patents Applied For” at bottom left and M.I.G.B.
AUDIO: As you would expect from vinyl this good. Absolutely superb and stunning.
To sum up. This album is definitely a MUST HAVE ALBUM of the very best quality, and would certainly be a great addition to any existing collection. The sounds are superb and truly classic. This rare album does not surface very often, so don’t miss out. Grab yourself a large slice of great musical history - and enjoy!!
A MUST HAVE ALBUM!!
BEST OF LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING.
