Description

Up for auction is TOWNES VAN ZANDT, "THE LATE GREAT" folk lp (UNITED ARTISTS / POPPY, PP-LA004-F), 1972 folk rock lp, in RARE US UNITED ARTISTS / POPPY 1st ORIGINAL STEREO PROMO - NOT FOR SALE pressing, in FINE STRONG EXCELLENT CONDITION!!!


Hard cardboard gatefold cover is in VG++ condition, NO seam splits, NO writing, only light ageing or ring wear and two hardly visible light brown stain residues on front bottom right, PROMOTIONAL - NOT FOR SALE sticker on front, cut out upper right hand corner, slight edge wear, spine is perfectly intact!!!

Vinyl looks fine and EXCELLENT, has only a few hairlines and light scratches but keeps nice gloss and shine, plays FINE STRONG EXCELLENT!!! There are only a few light clicks and ticks here and there, but only occasionally on most quiet passages or between a few tracks which, although sound more acoustic-like and quiet than electric, SOUND IS ABSOLUTELY CRISPY CLEARLY CLEAN AND LOUD WITHOUT ANY DISTRACTED OR ANNOYING NOISE!!! Maybe a nice cleaning would improve the whole audio result even better, but I'll leave that job to you!!!

Labels (ORIGINAL) are in CLEAN NEAR MINT condition, NO any wear, NO marks, NO taping, NO writing!!!

Original (maroon POPPY sleeve, NOT the one you can actually see in the pic) inner sleeve is in fine VG+ condition, NO wear, NO creases, cut out hole on corner, only the typical seam splits from use!

Extremely hard to find THIS RARE FIST ORIGINAL RELEASE in OVERALL STRONG EXCELLENT condition!!!
