Description
U2 - RATTLE and HUM - WEL S.A. / 1987 / TOP RARE Uruguayan PROMO ONLY. Unique edition that came out from the label that had U2's publication rights in Uruguay (PRODUCTOR FONOGRAFICO WEL s.a.) housed in a special cover to be sent to radio stations & Dj's. You can see the NOT FOR SALE banners everywhere & the track listing has been typed & pasted on back. This particular edition shows custom Wel promotional labels, this is the first time I see this ODD variation, I guess only a handful got released like this!!! It includes promo sheet.
Jacket is VG+, flimsy jacket has no writings or splits, it shows some wear & ring wear, which I think unavoidable given the fact that the two lp's were housed in this single fragile cover. It shows some creases by the open seam, cat num sticker on top front, and radio station sticker and some years yellowing on back, it looks ok.
Disc 1 is a VG+, surface keeps its nice gloss and shows thin hairlines & superficial scuffs, there's a radio station sticker on side 1 label, side 2 is clean, plays fine all through with clear sound.
Disc 2 is a nice VG+, surface keeps its nice gloss and shows lite thin hairlines & sleeve scuffs, the words Disco 2 are written on side 1 label, as the labels to both records are identical, this has been probably written to identify each volume, side 2 is clean, it also plays fine all through.
Sheet is in very good condition and it comes folded in four.
