UPDATE: Good news! The buyer who tried to mar our reputation, as well as others, has now been removed from the eBay community. It remains to be seen whether his so-called friends will continue his dirty work, but as of now, we are elated to report that his other two eBay IDs are also suspended. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. The songs are steeped deep in the San Fransisco sound- part pysch-part acid rock pastoral folkrock mixes from the golden age of underground rock. For psych summer of love sixties fans its a must own. With a name that sticks to both the roof of the mind and the roof of the mouth, L.A.’s Peanut Butter Conspiracy have been described as a “Sunset Stripped-down” version of the Jefferson Airplane—thanks mainly to singer Sandi Robison’s commanding voice and the band’s jangling psychedelic-meets-folk-rock attack (curiously, an early incarnation of the group, the Ashes, had featured future Airplane drummer Spencer Dryden). Under the wing of famed studio guru Gary Usher (Sagittarius), cut two brilliant albums for Columbia, 1967’s The Peanut Butter Conspiracy is Spreading and ’68’s The Great Conspiracy; Lp's bearing soaring acid/psych/folk-rock treasures like the singles “It’s a Happening Thing” and “Turn On a Friend (to the Good Life)” and the crashing, harmony-laced “Captain Sandwich.” So spread the word: The Peanut Butter Conspiracy is a happening thing!
