We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 22,000+ positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. - Third Ear Band very first LP "ALCHEMY" reveals an eclectic, colorful, inspired musical "mantra", a multi influenced musical profile and consequently difficult to classify in a specific sub-genre.
- "Alchemy" develops an achieved sense of multi-influences dialogue. Despite that Third Ear Band first started their career as a conventional psychedelic prog-ish band, a large part of their discography (with this first Third Ear album included) is reserved to medieval and "Eastern' raga harmonies on into a unique meditation formula of a chamber music.
- The eight tracks are all generally similar in structure, swami-hypnotic cobra-weaving snake trances. The whole album is exotic, with Glen Sweeney laying down a minimalist and erratic beat using hand drums, and the rest of the group offering up their various elaborations in what seems to be a fairly improvisational manner.
- Each track pulls the listener in and keeps their attention with a trance induced effect throughout the proceedings. Each one is certainly entranced and once you get into it you are hooked. The minimalism featured here is weaving blends of acoustics, which is even more unique...
