Some of the rarest TOOL items ever are up for grabs in this one of a kind auction... here we have the...
1) RARE--and ONLY available at TOOL's concerts-- gigantic tour only poster with absolutely beautiful artwork by Alex Grey 40x59 (that's inches, this means its nearly 3.5 feet by 5 feet!!!) this poster is brand new, still sealed in tube (see picture) & it is ENORMOUS I have a sample picture to illustrate the beauty of this truly unique print.
2) Also in this auction is the EXTREMELY RARE european test pressing of tool's third full length album "lateralus" the vinyl itself is MINT very clean LOOKS UNPLAYED, the sleeve has some ring wear (please reference the picture) 2 discs, 12"... Now, it took me ALOT of research and time, but I have been advised by volcano records, personally, that there were only 250 of these records pressed. They were test pressings that were distributed throughout Holland, as promotion/radio play records in 2001, BEFORE the album was actually released.
3) Rare Promo Picture Disc 12" LP vinyl sampler for the lateralus LP. An EXTREMELY RARE record, limited to 500 copies made. LP comes in a plastic sleeve, and has never been played. (as per picture). 2005 (Volcano II/Tool Dissectional: US) Catalogue number: LATER1-1
4) VERY RARE 12" "CLEAR" !! Promo vinyl LP for the album Undertow. Out of print (as are all of these discs) This is the clear vinyl, which is ALOT harder to get ahold of than the grey version, which is very rare itself...This particular LP was obtained directly from Tool's management company office in 1996. It is packaged in a relatively plain jacket with little sleeve art save for the "Undertwo ribcage". The center of the LP features the "cow licking itself" and "large woman (Laurie Ann Arden)" photos. The majority of the disks were pressed on grey vinyl. These LPs are very rare. 1993 (Zoo/BMG: US) Catalogue number ZP11052-1
5) Tori Amos Video "Live in New York" VERY HARD TO FIND... The interest that I had in this video, and you may share this interest, is that Maynard from TOOL guest stars and sings a song along side Tori. Its a very touching rendition of "Muhammed My Friend." It is in Mint Condition, there is a chip on the corner of the case though... It is in VHS format and PAL.
6) As a small bonus I'm throwing in a "Lateralus" post card... I'm not even sure how i came across this, but its kinda cool, and in great condition.
