TONI McCANN/TONI & ROYCE/OZ/FRANTIC/PUNK/GARAGE/MONSTA RARITY/SAMPLE=BUY SOME LOVE
The third single, a sample, from the “ Oz Queen of Punk”- the “toughest female singer of the sixties” and this one, believe me, cuts like a razor. If anything the (a) side is even wilder than the stuff on Everybody’s or Sunshine. She accompanies her dynamite vocals with banshee- wail like harmonica work. The Royce mentioned is Royce Nicholas from the Blue Jays so it well be them thrashing around behind her here. The (b) side is pretty intense too. I‘ve never seen a listing for the record so I guess it’s super scarce.
Visually the (b) side is VG+(light general scuffing) The (a) side has this and a very thin mark. On a light weighted arm you hear a light click as the needle crosses the trail-in deadwax but the song, I assure you, plays right through with zero problems as does the other side. The labels are EX. Tuff and dirty as it comes.
In a company jacket.
