Tom's passing away has been a great shock to the Scottish dance community and the worldwide family of friends and 'ravers' that have been touched by Tom's dedication and love for the scene.
Rumour Records had just completed Bouncin Back 3 before his untimely death and with his families consent they had decided to go ahead and release the album as a Tribute to Tom and his music.
Tom Wilson had compiled 'BOUNCIN' BACK 3' before his passing and is being released as a Tribute to Tom and the music he loved. Tom's career has spanned over 20 years as one of Scotlands best loved DJ's whose reputation has been built both in he clubs and radio. He established the longest running dance show 'Steppin Out' on Forth FM which ran for 14 years picking up many an award en-route while playing out to thousands at the biggest events around (Fantasia, Rezerection, The Big Bang, T in The Park).
`BOUNCIN BACK 3` features 18 much sought after classic `Old Skool Anthems` as always Tom has dug deep into his record boxes to put together a superb selection of hard to find old skool faves from both the italo house and rave scene that was so predominant `back in the day`. And as always the tracklisting is not full of your usual suspects that can be found on a dozen other 'old skool' compilations - 'BOUNCIN BACK 3' gives you much more than that - with long forgotten classics thatll bring a smile to many a clubbers face.
