TOM WAITS “Rain Dogs” Nice Original Release From 1985. Promo Copy NM All Around!


Truly epic copy of this important album. A first day of release promotional copy from the Allied L.A. press. The vinyl, cover, and inner sleeve are all Near Mint. The vinyl looks perfect with no marks. The cover is as close to perfect as any 38 year old printed item can be, a gold promotional stamp is on the top rear of the cover. The printed custom inner sleeve with lyrics has no splits or creases. This copy has to be among the finest available for purchase.


The middle release of the trinity that included “Swordfishtrombone”, “Rain Dogs”, and “Franks Wild Years”. “Rain Dogs” speaks about the urban denizens of NYC. Produced and written by Waits, the album is considered one of the most important in his career. Pitchfork rates the album as the 8th best of the ‘80s, and Rolling Stone lists it as 357 in “The Greatest Albums of All Time”. This copy is a must for a vinyl collection.
