CONDITION:
cover: VG/VG+
some shelf wear/soiling ~ lite wear/fray to edges & corners
ring wear ~ bb lower left
vinyl: VG/VG+
clean & glossy ~ numerous minor lite surface scratches/ marks per side
all superficial surface ~ nothing affecting play ~ plays excellent, but, with a few occasional
lite clicks & a bit of occasional lite crackle ~ nothing that disturbs
recorded at DMG Sound Studio, Thunder Bay, Canada

Rare 'Canada only' LP release on the Birchmount label that should interest psych collectors
not so much for the musical appeal but for the Jarvis Street Revue participation ~
here's the review from Joynson's psych / garage reference "Dreams,Fantasies & Nightmares",
(looks like it was actually reviewed by one of the west coast's premier music collectors ~Tim Holden)
This album is notable for featuring Jarvis Street Revue . Although credited to
Tom Milestone, this was a pseudonym for Tom Horricks, who also handled
production duties, whilst Jarvis Street Revue provide the backing. Musically,
it is "rough" lounge-jazz. Some of the tracks are excellent and the album is mainly
instrumental with no real vocals. The rock background is evident on Watermelon Man
and Gimme Some Lovin' whilst the most "psychedelic" track is a version of Take Five,
with a bizarre guitar solo that is hopelessly NOT jazz but sounds like a slowed down
Keith Richards / Chuck Berry copy. Tom Milestone/Horricks himself is a sax player of
limited skills like Boots Randolph, indeed he even does one of Boots' songs.
