BEAUTIFUL MINT Rare UK pressing from the turn of the seventies featuring an amazing guitarist who has the highest of ratings in Europe.
Jukka Tolonen is not only Finland's national guitar hero but also one of the world's most respected guitarists. For the past 4 decades, he has captivated audiences through Scandinavia. Tolonen became famous as guitarist for the band Tasavallan Presidentti -- he also played on albums Tombstone Valentine (1970) and Fairyport (1971) by Wigwam.
... "Tolonen!" was his very first solo comes from 1971...
TOLONEN! is a killer album that any guitar fan might snap up before it disappears off the face of the earth. Jukka Tolonen is almost unknown in the U.S., but has been revered in Scandinavia (he's from Finland) and Europe for thirty five+ years. The album has unique, unforgettable music, Tolonen & guitar playing extraordinarily fluid & flowing, other times frenetic off the fretboard -- sometimes hard-edged, sometimes quiet. This is probably the best of all Tolonen's albums -- it's certainly the most original. Tolonen remains of the the most diverse guitarists of today, being equally proficient in a blues, rock, or fusion jazz environment.
A rare chance to get a cover in TOP clean minty condition, it's usually found with much wear due to the dark cover, this one in NEAR MINT!

I'm selling off my collection of hard to find Prog Rock and Aussie Rock from the 60's and 70's. All records have been kept in plastic covers since i've owned them and will be shipped with them on, in thick cardboard. Grading is done under a close fluro lamp and played to test for noise.
Happy to combine postage on multiple purchases to save you some bucks.
Grading system as follows;
M New or in as new condition.
M- Very minimal marking if any.
EX Excellent condition, little wear.
VG+ Minor marking, quite acceptable.
VG Marking and signs of wear, maybe cover ring wear
but still acceptable.
VG- Very marked and getting quite beat up at this stage.
G Very badly marked, lots of scratches and maybe a slight warp. Mainly label value only or a filler but still plays with a lot of noise. Will do until a better copy comes along.
