A more than pleasing copy of Ted Mulry’s last and easily rarest LP, and the only copy I’ve ever come across in many a year. Whether the band were considered past their use by date or the fickle public had simply moved onto the relatively new synth-pop music that was saturating the airwaves … whatever the reason this one slipped between the cracks and vanished with hardly a trace … not even one of the 3 singles taken from it "Save Me" (Feb.), "Can't Take It All" (May) and "Captured" (Sept.) made the charts which is a strong indication of how poorly the album was received ; and it's not as if the band had changed their style either as there are some great tracks here.

During their hey-day of the mid to late 70s TMG packed them in like sardines around the pub-scene with their brand of extroverted pop. So popular were these guys that they were for a time that they were crowned the country’s Rock and Roll's party animals with Ted himself adored by all and sundry … his passing a decade ago was a tragedy that sent shockwaves throughout the industry.

It’s a shame the sleeve here is not equal condition-wise to the vinyl however it may be years before another turns up and fans of the bands fun-rocking style will not be disappointed with the material here.

CONDITION : see 4 photos above.
Vinyl - play-tested completely both sides : Looks excellent and plays accordingly. Some light marks but does track along beaut with a great clean sound. No background noise of any consequence. No pops. No skips. Plenty of shine both sides. Rated VG+ and plays just fine.
Labels : Clean.
Inner Sleeve : Near New with photos and full lyrics.
Sleeve : not the greatest due to 30 plus years of sitting in a pile on a shelf (irksome I know) resulting in all round edge-wear and ring-wear as per above photos. No writing or splits or creasing which helps though the presentation does suffer overall somewhat and considering the rarity of this album it rates as acceptable.
