Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have a very large collection of vinyl and I am selling some more so that I can buy some more!? I will always offer either very nice copies of great music or maybe an album in poorer condition if it is particularly rare. I will be selling vinyl on many different labels including:- CHARISMA/B&C, HARVEST, PEGASUS, RCA NEON, ISLAND, DAWN, ETC ETC...

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

SO HERE WE GO.......So very rarely seen up for sale, and if you have heard this album you can see why collectors hang on to their copies. Fortunately I have another copy to keep so selling this superb copy is not as hard as it may seem. A truely brilliant and super rare album, up there with the likes of 'SPRING' and 'CRESSIDA'.

For sale here is --TITUS GROAN--TITUS GROAN-- 1970 UK ORIGINAL VERY FIRST  PRESSING.

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and UN-LAMINATED. It is very flat and square.  This one has survived it's nearly 40 years in well above average condition. condition......Although not  mint it is still in superb condition. The bottom edge is in EX condition with light shelf wear and NO splits. The top edge is also  EX condition with  light wear and NO splits. The front is VG condition and suffers with a surface tear caused by a price sticker being removed, but this has been sympathetically touched in, there is NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO RUBBING, NO STICKERS  AND NO STAINING. The rear  is in  better EX condition with some very minor rubbing at the top and bottom but this is not through the surface. The inner gatefold is in SUPERB N/MINT condition. The opening edges  are in lovely EX condition with no tears. The spine is very square and does NOT suffer from any sun fading and although a little rubbed all of the information is readable.  There is wear to the tips of the corners. ( please see the close-up picture).  All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 39 year old sleeve. EX(-).

LABELS.....Clean and tidy with no writing or tears and minimal spindle marks/NO wear. EX+/EX+

VINYL....  Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see a few very light surface hair lines which are caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve and a couple of other non audible marks, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is PRISTINE. Both sides play WITHOUT SCRATCHES, CLICKS OR JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. The audio reproduction of this pressing is perfect in all frequencies, it is so clear and crisp..top.. quiet run-in grooves!!??There are a small amount of dust crackles that can be heard only in between tracks. This is a superb album in the most wonderful of conditions. These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are second to none. This really is a top copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . VISUAL- EX/EX. very nice! BOTH SIDES PLAY BACK IS EX+

ONE OF THE VERY BEST PROGRESSIVE ALBUMS EVER! AND ONE OF MY VERY FAVOURITES.

TOP CRISP AND FULL AUDIO REPRODUCTION. AS FRESH AS THE DAY IT WAS PRESSED.

 THIS ALBUM IS GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION. IT IS RARE IN THIS 'SUPERB' CONDITION.

I only use top quality packaging each album is cleaned on a VPI machine, packaged out side of the sleeve/s to prevent seem splits during transport, stiffened with 2 stiffeners, wrapped in bubble wrap, and the posted out in a brand new highest quality 'cruciform' mailer.
