Here is your chance to win a SEALED, untouched vinyl edition of "Simple pleasure" by the Tindersticks! Together with "Curtains" easily the toughest Tindersticks record to track down on vinyl and while that album had a limited run of 5000 copies exact figures of "Simple Pleasure"'s one-off pressing are unknown. I doubt that there are more than 3000 copies because otherwise this title would show up more often.
Plain Records has just repressed the first two Tindersticks albums and MIGHT do "Curtains" but a reissue of "Simple Pleasure" doesn't seem to be on the cards. Which is a shame because this is a great sounding vinyl album, pressed on 180 Gram, very quiet vinyl that offers a warm, full bodied analogue experience. But let's face it: This is not for the casual Tindersticks listener. If you want only one or two records from the band then "Simple Pleasure" most likely won't be among them. This is for the connaisseur, for people that appreciate the soulful, stripped down approach of this and "Can Our Love".
Condition: Sealed, totally untouched. A thorough investigation shows one small flaw through the plastic though: A small, beginning seamsplit on the top. This is really just beginning and barely noticeable.
