The Timebox – Don’t Make Promises 7” (orig. UK Deram MONO DM 153)

UK Release date: 20 October 1967.

On offer here is a VERY RARE original UK DEMO issue of the third 7” single by Southport band THE TIMEBOX.  “Don’t Make Promises” is a cover version of TIM HARDIN, while the flipside “Walking Through the Streets of My Mind” is an impressive pop soul number.  TIMEBOX (Mike Patto, Ollie Halsall, Clive Griffiths & John Halsey) renamed themselves PATTO and issued their superb debut album on Vertigo Records in late 1970.
