Description
A great opportunity to buy an ORIGINAL copy of a VINYL LP from the 1970’s by Third Ear Band called "Elements", though the title is not shown on either the cover or the label.
This is a U.K. issue released in 1970 on the collectable Harvest label (SHVL 773) (stereo). It has a total of 4 tracks, named after the Elements;- Air; Earth; Fire; Water.
The matrix numbers are: - SHVL 773 A-1 (side one) and SHVL 773 B-1 (side two).
The vinyl is in a lovely clean and shiny EXCELLENT condition. I always grade and examine records under a bright table lamp and there are a few light surface marks evident, but nothing serious. I have played the whole album and it plays fine. There is the odd click audible, particularly between tracks, but this should not detract from what is a great example of this rare 42 year old album.
There are a few spindle marks only noticeable on one label when tilted towards the light, but apart from this, the labels are completely clean and free from any writing, marks or major defects (see photos). There is a Factory Sample sticker on the label of side two (see photo).
The record is perfectly flat and has no warps of any description.
The record is housed in a plain poly-lined inner sleeve in EXCELLENT condition, with just minor creasing.
The laminated gatefold picture cover is in an EXCELLENT condition. The edges and spine are still strong and the text on the spine is readable (see photo). There is just some very minor shelf wear at the top and bottom of the spine and along the bottom edge. Inside the gatefold is clean and undamaged.
