NICK PORTLOCK / GERRY MORRIS (split): Theme From Gestetner Faxil 1566 Presentation (Composed By NICK PORTLOCK) / Stay With Me (Composed by GERRY MORRIS)
PRIVATE (no code on label, #GESTETNER-001 A/B matrix) UK 1978 7" (not issued in ps but comes in its original handwritten plain sleeve with note "Gestetner March 1979")
Extremely obscure and impossible Private DIY Electronics Soul Funk release from 1978 (or March 1979 as written on plain sleeve), both tracks are instrumentals, one is synth electronics but with soul/dance feeling like a disco-ish Mike Oldfield while the other side is a rather boring (for my taste) soul/funk/mor - label is very DIY like glued on white labels - there is no code on labels but only a date and matrix codes as stated above - I guess this is a promotional thing for the equipment (Gestetner Faxil 1566) or something and not a commercial release - anyway, this is really scarce and in very nice condition.
Condition
cover: ex (plain sleeve with handwritten "163" and "Gestetner March 1979")
vinyl: ex- (minor vinyl wear)
* Strict Record Collector grading (however I don't use higher than ex/ex grade)
P&P
registered p&p for Europe GBP6.80, all other countries GBP8.80
* If you prefer standard mail please ask - however the risk would be on buyer
* I'm a collector myself so strict packing policies applied (I have never received a complaint for a broken item - all records moved out of ps and put in plain sleeve and picture sleeve in plastic sleeve).
