Van Morrison Lead vocals

This is a great album in great condition. This is the first stereo pressing. There were two different covers. On this the first pressing,it has Them, with a blurb that says featuring Here Comes The Night on the front. When the song Gloria became such a monster hit the album was re-released but on the cover instead of saying featuring Here Comes The Night it said featuring Gloria. The first pressing with featuring Here Comes The Night is the more valuable. The cover is in great shape with minimal shelf wear and no rips or tears or splits, there is a small piece of a price sticker on the cover whic can be easily cleaned off.The vinyl is in very nice and clean condition. This album is very hard to find especially in this condition. It plays very clean with almost no noise. There are a few seconds with a few tick on one song (I don't remember which song,it has been a long time since i played it,other than the few ticks I woud say the vinyl is close to near mint condition, with no skips or repeats and again almost no noise. This is the groups 1st lp and the band consisted of vocalists Van Morrison, with Billy Harrison,Alan Henderson, and Brothers Jackie and Patrick Mcaulay, the latter four rarely being allowed the privilege of entering the studio to record the groups songs.Morrison left after the second album and the group disbanded. This Lp listed in Gold mine 1996 edition for $70.00.Again this a great album and a wonderful addition to anyone's collection, especially a Van Morrison fan.
