This one is the first mono pressing of Thelonious Monk's THE UNIQUE THELONIOUS MONK. Riverside Records RLP 12-209. This is an original issue from Riverside Records, issued in 1956, not a reissue version. White Labels and Deep Groove on both labels.
Comes with an original 1st version frame cover. Very Rare.
Thelonious Monk (piano), Oscar Pettiford (bass), Art Blakey (drums).
The vinyl looks bright and glossy. I've played test this record on my system and it plays NM- on both sides.
The cover is rated NM-. Strong/No crack/No split. Some dirts on the front and back. (see picture). The spine is intact. Overall, nice.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied.
