Description

Artist:  THELONIOUS MONK QUARTET

Title:  “Thelonious – In Action:  Recorded at the Five Spot Café, New York City”

Label:  Riverside.  Catalog number is RLP 262, monaural.  Small blue label, with deep groove.

Year:  session:  August 1958

Personnel:   Johnny Griffin (ts) Thelonious Monk (p) Ahmed Abdul-Malik (b) Roy Haynes (d)

Condition:

Vinyl:  Vinyl is NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, appears to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with care.  Labels are clean.  Fidelity is superb.  A gorgeous disc you will never need to upgrade.

Jacket:  Jacket is EXCELLENT with nice bright artwork, clean surfaces.  No splits, stickers, writing, or cutout indications.  The corners show minor wear at the tips, and there is a very tiny chip on the bottom seam near the left bottom corner.  Overall a very fine jacket to go with the lovely disc.
