Description
THE ZIPPS -Don't Tell The Detectives/ Friends 7" (UK, Rip Off, RIP 12, 1979) Superb sole 45 by this Belfast band, not to be confused with all the other Zips/ Zipps. Certainly one of the toughest Rip Off 45s to find. PLEASE NOTE: This is a different copy to the one I previously listed but is in similarly nice condition. It will probably be the last copy I have to sell of it for some time, these things don't turn up much now.
Condition: (standard Record Collector gradings apply with the use of + & -)
Sleeve: EX, some light usage, no splits. A small tear at the front die-cut has been very neatly repaired (see photo 3). The sleeve is a printed white paper bag and is very thin.
Disc: EX+, a very clean copy, side one has one light pressing mark at the edge and side two has one hairline mark in the run out. Playback is excellent. One label has a darker area where a sticker has been removed (there's no tearing) -See photos.
