Equally renowned for producing deep roots reggae, trance-inducing dub and bittersweet lover’s rock, the Mad Professor’s Southeast London Ariwa Sounds stable is a veritable institution of British reggae.
By 1984 Guyana-born Neil Fraser (Mad Professor's real name) had teamed up with Sandra Cross, a lovers rock singer and sister of Victor Cross, an early Ariwa Sessioneer. The siblings had worked together as The Wild Bunch, an Ariwa album act, before Sandra,a sweet-voiced, confident singer, proved capable of delivering Ariwa the hits it was seeking.
Produced by MAD PROFESSOR at Ariwa Sound Studio, Peckham London.

The records I'm listing now or I'm going to list in the following weeks, come from the basement of a record shop now sadly closed (so all the vinyls are in NM/EX condition, while the sleeves could have signs of their age). Anyway I'll try to well describe all their flaws.
I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LOST OR DAMAGED BY THE POSTAL SERVICE.
If you have any questions about them or you need the complete tracklisting, don't hesitate to contact me. I'll answer asap.
VINYL GRADING :
- Mint (M) record new and/or unplayed.
- NearMint (NM) record in beautiful shape.
- Excellent (EX) if there's a flaw on the sleeve or vinyl, it's very minor and is still a great copy.
- Very Good (VG) the sleeve has minor shop wear, is creased and/or shows a ring impression; while the vinyl shows some signs of handling.
- Good (G) the record is used but not abused. The sleeve shows multiple flaws (seam split, ring wear), while the vinyl may have some surface noise (no skips or pops) and shows small scratches that don't affect the sound.
- Fair (F) the sleeve shows a lot of flaws(seam splits, ring wears), while the vinyl shows loads of surface noise and scratches or other defects.
Bid with confidence as I offer an unconditional full refund (shipping costs not included) if the item is not as described.
I Prefer PAYPAL.
I accept also BANK DRAFT and POSTAL ORDER; CASH in UK£./USD$/EUROs (in registered letters only and at purchaser's own risk) and CHEQUES.
PAYMENT is expected within 15 DAYS from the end of the auction (please, contact me before making any payment if not paypal).
