ORIGINAL SONGS, INTERVIEWS WITH MEMBERS, ETC...MOST OF THE SOURCE'S RELEASES WERE ISSUED IN 2 LPs SETS...THIS CONSISTS OF 6!
The Source was a radio network operated in the 1970s and 1980s by the NBC Radio Network, with newscasts and features focusing on 18- to 34-year-olds. The network was sold, along with the rest of NBC's radio operations, to Westwood One in August 1987.
Unfortunately, most radio stations broadcast with varying degrees of heavy compression, which helps keep their signal strong over the airways, but puts limitations on the sound quality. The actual promo CDs/LPs sound much better (in most cases). Please note that there are typically radio commercials mixed in-between the tracks.
