Description

Here's a set of 5 audiophile and one rare pressing by the Who. Super sound, must haves from early Rock history

The Who Sings My Generation, US Decca DL 74664, Stereo. Rare and valuable. Cover is EX++ with some light edgewear. Cover slick is perfect. Vinyl looks EX+, some light marks, but sounds wonderful. The dead vinyl is extremely quiet and the sonics are very good. EX+ to M-.

Tommy, Japanese Polydor 35MM0070/71. 12 page book, 4 page insert, all near mint. The vinyl is near mint also.

Perfect Collection, Japanese Polydor MP 9447/8, 2 lp set of hits from My Generation and Magic Bus to Won't Get Fooled Again. No insert but the songs and lyrics are all inside the gatefold cover. Everything like new, M- throughout.

Quadrophenia, Japan CBS/Sony 40AP1259-60, double lp with massive 42 page book, 6 page insert, and CBS/Sony Rock Best 100 lps insert. I'm calling the cover EX++ due to some light corner wear, everything else is near mint, including the lps, and they sound teriffic.

Live at Leeds, Japan Polydor 23MM0068, cover obi and disc near mint No insert.

A beautiful set with a good chunk of their very best work. 5 lps, 8 discs, and lots of extra goodies.

The Rant: I'm tired of receiving lps graded MINT that have scratches and scuffs. Also the ones that are so dirty the seller can't see the scratches and scuffs. I'm also dizzy from trying to decipher mint minus from EX+, VG+ from EX, etc, with no description of what caused that rating.

The commitment: I'll describe the item as much as I need to to give a clear picture of the condition. If there are flaws, I'll describe them. If there are ANY marks OF ANY KIND on the vinyl I'll play through them to make sure they do not affect the listening experience. If they do, the listing will say so. Grading is an arbitrary thing, so I'll assign a grade, and you can use the description to cross check. Please e:mail any questions prior to the close of the auction. I will guarantee your money back, plus your postage, if the description of the item is inaccurate.
