Original 1968 U.K. first issue mono pressing released on the Deram label DML 1025.

Description :

Very rare and hard to find debut album from obscure psych band The Web.

The Web began as a jazz/blues band, with a style simultaneously related to America’s West Coast groove and UK’s proto-prog movement. Hailing from the British psychedelic scene, their style is often described as atmospheric, moody, melancholy, and dark. The powerful presence of African-American singer John L. Watson and two guitarists provided a tight muscle to the band’s sound, reflected in the first two studio efforts “Fully Interlocking” (1968) and “Theraposa Blondi” (1970). Watson then left The Web and was replaced by Dave Lawson who gave the band a different sound on their third LP I Spider.

Condition ~ Vinyl :

The vinyl is in overall EXCELLENT condition with a few light surface hairlines on each side but absolutely nothing serious.

Condition ~ Sleeve :

The striking laminated sleeve is in VG++ condition showing only light creasing and a tiny bit of tape in the bottom right corner. No writing.

Condition ~ Labels :

Both labels show only light spindle wear. No writing.

Miscellaneous :

Comes complete with the original red mono Deram inner sleeve which is in decent shape.
