THE WAILING WAILERS - STUDIO 1 ALBUM - VERY RARE
Extremely rare LP on Studio 1 Label, S 1001.
I bought this album from a friend almost 35 years ago, having been told it was an original pressing. He's still a friend, but I often wondered if it was actually a re-press. Having recently researched it, I believe that it is an original pressing, as represses substituted the track "When The Well Runs Dry" with a track named "Ska Jerk". This album carries the former. This was the Wailers' first album, and the music speaks for itself (apart from Ten Commandments Of Love, which I think is awful), portraying the raw emotion and talent associated with the young Wailers. The record plays really well, is not scratched, and does carry the expected level of background crackle, although not enough to detract from the music. The cover is looking a bit sorry for itself.
