Description
Here is a great vintage Fugs debut album first pressing on the original Broadside label.
Later, it was reissued on the ESP label as "The Fugs' First Album".
It features not only The Fugs, but also The Holy Modal Rounders (Pete Stampfel and Steve Weber).
The album got a rave review:
"A loping, ridiculous, and scabrous release, the Fugs' debut mashed everything from folk and beat poetry to rock and rhythm & blues — all with a casual disregard for sounding note perfect, though not without definite goals in mind."

This is an original US first pressing on Broadside 304.
Yellow and black label, possibly a promo.
The cover has an amazing photo of the guys hamming it up in a slum alleyway. Light wear and taped seam splits. Looks great.
The vinyl has some light marks, mostly surface.
Plays great.
This has sold for over 500 dollars in good shape.
A great rare piece of very early psychedelic and alternative history. This is really where it all began.
