THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO LP V6-5008

ORIGINAL PRESS ON VERVE WITH THE PEELABLE BANANA AND GATEFOLD SLEEVE.

The best copy of this I've seen; the banana is intact. It has been peeled, and the stem has been snapped off at some stage; it is all there through, which  is very unusual.

The vinyl is M/NM, not a single mark that I can see. Shines like new.

The sleeve has a few stains, as per photo. NO ringwear. Spine and opening edges are perfect. Airbrushed torso. Grade EX

I am selling a number items from my collection over the next week or so. All the LPs I will be offering are rare 1st press 60s psyhc/rock gems. They are all in EXCEPTIONAL (mostly mint/NM) condition; all were purchased for my own collection and I am a VERY fussy buyer. I am very confident of the accuracy of my gradings, will offer a full refund to those who do not agree! Most of my selling feedback is from vinyl (usually spares or unwanted items).

I DO NOT describe records with a VG rating as being STUNNING or AMAZING or indulge in any of the other sales hype which unfortunately prevails amongst record dealers on eBay. My records 100% genuine and have not been treated in any way to enhance their appearance.

Any items selling for over £50 MUST be sent by registered delivery, for mutual protection. Insurance is optional, but recommended. My postage charges are as follows (UK/EUROPE/REST OF WORLD) £3.00/£5.00/£7.00. Items will be packed as I would expect to receive them. You can be confident that my LPs WILL NOT get damaged in the post, I know from bitter experience how infuriating it is to receive an LP with a damaged sleeve simply because the vendor could not be bothered to use adequate packaging.
