Description

Here is THE TREND "The Trend" 12" ep released on Brainwave Records(BW-1) back in 1980 original first pressing.  RARE RARE RARE!  Totally undocumented and uncomped punk/power pop private pressing.  Not to be confused with the "Band Aid" / "Electric Chair" combo, this must be far rarer with only one reference to the record and group existing on the web.  And popsike shows only one copy has been offered for sale.  Five piece group from Los Angeles, who recorded this very short album OR extended play 12" single in 1980.  Side One features four killer tracks.  Side Two features a 1 minute 20 second interview with the band (?!) taking up the whole side.  Obviously self-released, very home-made feel and first and presumably only release on BRAINWAVE.  Must have been a pressing of 500 or less - never seen before.
