Up for auction we have the super rare and super collectible original pressing of THE TREND 45.

The Trend were a trio of high school kids who formed one of the best pop garage punk bands to come out of upstate Central New York / maybe the whole USA. They played their Peavey gear at Syracuse University mixers and local punk new wave clubs. Their dads had to pick them up when they were done playing!

They put out 2 vinyl records, a 45 and a LP, both GREAT!!! Full of sarcastic clever suburban teen angst and irritation. And catchy tunes too! They have been reissued together as an italian import. The song BAND AID was included on the Killed By Death, KBD #10 compilation.

But this is the real deal! The one everyone wants. Original pressing of the 7" 45 that I got from the band. On the Flashcubes' Northside Label.

Every time this record come up for sale on Ebay (which is not very often) the price goes up. As an ADDED BONUS, I am including (3) 8.5 x 11 xeroxed pages of articles and reviews of THE TREND from Syracuse newspapers, AND a 2.5 x 3.5 Black and White Photograph of the band that they gave me.

This is a REAL photo, not a reprint and is one of the shots used on the Picture Sleeve. They have written "THE BRATS" on the back of the photo! You certainly won't get this from anyone else. This truly makes this auction a ONE OF A KIND deal.

CONDITION: Visually grading, Record is very shiny and unscratched. I played this a couple times at most (played it, taped it and played the tape). Some light paper scuffs. some fingerprint smudges that i dont want to mess with. Will leave that to the buyer to clean off. / Clean labels / Sleeve has no tears, some wrinkles and some dirt smudges. Some ring wear on front. Cheap paper they used for the sleeve little darkened. Overall great shape for a punk record over 20 years old -- I want to point out any flaws cos this is an expensive record / photo has some reddish discoloration, probably was not fixed/stop bathed enough
